Prepare the cupcake

Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and spices.
In another large bowl, whisk pumpkin, sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla.
Add the flour mixture to the pumpkin mixture, scoop batter into the cupcake pan. And bake.

Make the frosting
In the bowl of an electric mixer, add butter and beat until smooth.
Add cream cheese, powdered sugar, maple syrup, vanilla and heavy cream.
Continue beating until light and fluffy.
