Ingredients

  • 3⅓ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 24 tablespoons unsalted butter softened (3 sticks)
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar packed
  • 3 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 11 ounces white chocolate chips plus more for garnish
  • 20 Oreo cookies crushed

  • Oreo cookies quartered

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line large baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Set aside.
  • Whisk together all purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
  • Add the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar to the bowl of a stand mixer or large mixing bowl. Cream together for 3 minutes with the paddle attachment until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time, thoroughly incorporating each one before adding the next. Beat in the vanilla extract.
  • Add the flour mixture in three batches, full incorporating in between each addition, making sure to scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl as needed.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips and crushed Oreos until combined.
  • Scoop the cookie dough into 13 equal portions, about 5 ounces each. Roll into a smooth ball and place on the prepared baking sheets, several inches apart.
  • Gently press down on the cookie dough balls and flatten them out slightly into a large flat circle.
  • Bake for 13 to 14 minutes until cookies appear dry in the center.
  • Remove from oven and immediately press chocolate chips and Oreo cookie pieces into the tops of the cookies.
  • Let cookies cool completely on the baking sheet (where they will continue cooking). Enjoy!

Notes

Storage Information
Room Temperature: Allow cookies to cool before transferring to an airtight container. Cookies can be stored for up to 5 days.
Freezer: For longer storage, you can freeze the cookies in a sealed bag or container for up to 3 months – just let them thaw at room temperature or pop them in the microwave for a few seconds to enjoy them warm!
